It’s been a year in the making, but the relaunch of our original journal stencil range is finally complete!
We’ve been busy, updating and improving the designs, creating support tools and perfecting our stencil storage system.
The changes we have made are:
We used this process as an opportunity to work through and update any older designs. For most this was small design improvement to the way the stencil works, made possible due to the change in material from our original laminated card to the #Clearcut material we use today.
An examples of this kind of small change is shown the this picture. We have connected the cats tail to it’s body. This was previously kept separate to help strengthen the design while on laminated card.
You can also see we’ve added the hole-punch to all of the designs, rather than doing manually after cutting.
For a small number we made more significant design updates, these are shown below: (old design is on the left)
We have changed the scale and design of some of the elements to make them more appropriate to use in a journal.
We have simplified the scale of the design, and changed the sizing so it aligns with our A5 Journals.
We simplified the design so there are less segments to draw, we also standardised the thickness of the jar sides!
This was one of the earliest Oops a Daisy Stencil designs, and a lot has changed in the world of social media since!
PLEASE NOTE: Classic Stencils with SKU C01-40 were updated prior to last summer’s StationeryFest. So these changes have been available for a while!
Each stencil sold will now include both a physical (printed) cheat sheet, along with access to the digital cheat sheet for reference.
For those of you with existing collection of Classic Stencils, you will be able to download the complete set of cheat sheets totally free of charge.
We will also have printed copies available in bundles of 20 designs. Which also include the checklist for that 20 to be added at the front of storage binders. The cost for these will be £7.50.
Each Classic Stencil now has a minimum of 4 unique images, which help to give an idea of what the stencil looks like, how to use the design, the sizing, and the support material you will receive.
We also have more generic images that give an idea of the material the stencil is made from and storage available.
We know that we have a lot of customers who already have an extensive collection of Classic Stencils, so we have created this fab value storage bundle, which includes a binder, a set of cheat sheets and a sheet of stencil organisation stickers. All you need to do is add your stencils!
The bundle is £16, a saving of over 15% on the individual item RRP!
We have created a downloadable catalogue which shows all 101 updated designs, along with their SKU. This is a great resources for identifying your designs and creating a wish-list!
